Borrowed from Turkic. Compare Chagatai [script needed] (alačuɣ) and Tatar алачык (alaçıq), Kyrgyz алачык (alacık), Crimean Tatar alaçıq, Azerbaijani alaçıq (yurt), meaning "felt tent", "shelter of branches" [1]
