[edit]Inherited from Ashokan Prakrit 𑀅𑀙𑀢𑀺 (achati /acchati/), from Sanskrit आक्षेति (ā́kṣeti). Cognate with Maharastri Prakrit 𑀅𑀘𑁆𑀙𑀇 (acchaï), Ardhamagadhi Prakrit 𑀅𑀘𑁆𑀙𑀇 (acchaï), Paisaci Prakrit 𑀅𑀓𑁆𑀔𑀇 (akkhaï), Pali acchati.
