Glyph origin appears to be from 冎 rather than 骨. What is the source on glyph origin?

Japanese. Rfv-sense:

===Adverb===
{{ja-pos|べつ|adverb}}

# not [[particularly]]; not [[specially]] (used with a negative verb)

====Derived terms====
* {{ja-r|別に|べつ に}}

Added in this edit. Is this just referring to 別に? —Fish bowl (talk) 00:13, 20 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, I think that must be in reference to 別に (betsu ni). The term (betsu) on its own is not used adverbially this way, so far as I'm aware. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 01:04, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

No confirmation in the past several months. I have removed the mistaken POS and sense. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 01:40, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
