[edit]From Byzantine Greek ἀποτελειώνω (apoteleiṓnō), from Koine Greek ἀποτελειόω (apoteleióō).[1] By surface analysis απο- (apo-, “completion”) + τελειώνω (teleióno, “to finish”).
