      • 300 BCE – 200 BCE, Herodas, fragments 3:
        Ἤ χαλκέην μοι μυῖαν ἤ κύθρην παίζει
        Ḗ khalkéēn moi muîan ḗ kúthrēn paízei
        Play either "bronzen fly" [i.e. blind man's buff] or "pipkin" with me.
