Inherited from Old East Slavic домови (domovi), домовь (domovĭ), from Proto-Slavic *domovi, the u-stem dative singular of *domъ (“home”). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?) Cognate with Belarusian дамо́ў (damóŭ). Doublet of до́мові (dómovi).
