Russian[edit]
Alternative forms[edit]
- полсто́лько (polstólʹko)
Etymology[edit]
пол- (pol-, “half”) + сто́лько (stólʹko, “so much”), with сто́лько (stólʹko) declined as if it were a noun and placed in the genitive case (by analogy with other words in пол- (pol-), which require that the following part be in the genitive case, most commonly ending in -a).
Pronunciation[edit]
Noun[edit]
полсто́лька • (polstólʹka) n inan
- (colloquial) half as much
Usage notes[edit]
Exists only in the nominative and accusative singular.
