- To gallop.
- Tanach, Nahum 3:2, with translation of the New International Version:
- קוֹל שׁוֹט וְקוֹל רַעַשׁ אוֹפָן וְסוּס דֹּהֵר וּמֶרְכָּבָה מְרַקֵּדָה׃
- qol-shot vəqól-rá'ash ofán vəsús dohér umerkavá məraqqedá.
