Pseudo-Arabism, from Arabic حَبْل (ḥabl, rope) +‎ Arabic مَتِين (matīn, robust), in reference to Qur'an (in Arabic), 609–632 CE, 3:103. Compare Arabic حَبْل اللهِ الْمَتِين (ḥabl allāhi l-matīn, Qur'an).
