  1. niche for lamp
    • 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 24:35:
      مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ
      maṯalu nūrihi kamiškātin fīhā miṣbāḥun
      The likeness of his light is like a niche with a lamp in it.
