Literally, Hands shaking; swaying (moving from side to side), because a person who is emptyhanded will have both hands swaying.

Phrase

ܐ̈ܝܼܕ݂ܵܬ݂ܵܐ ܒܸܫܓ݂ܵܫܵܐ (īḏāṯā bišḡāšā)

  1. Equivalent to the English expression empty-handed
    ܠܵܐ ܐܵܙܲܠ݇ܚ ܘܐ̈ܝܼܕ݂ܵܬ݂ܲܢ ܒܸܫܓ݂ܵܫܵܐ
    lā āzaḥ wīḏāṯan bišḡāšā
    Let’s not go emptyhanded
    (literally, “Let’s not go with our hands swaying; moving from side to side.”)
