Usage notes

• This is the masculine singular form; the feminine singular is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܠܵܗ̇ (allāhā manniḥ lāh), and the plural is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܠܗܘܿܢ (allāhā manniḥ lhōn).
• The traditional response is ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ ܡܲܢܸܚ ܡܝܼ̈ܬ݂ܘܼܟ݂ (allāhā manniḥ mīṯūḵ, literally “May God rest your deceased”).
