Inherited from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀕𑀟𑀯𑀟 n (gaḍavaḍa). Related to गडबडणे (gaḍbaḍṇe). Cognate with Gujarati ગડબડ (gaḍbaḍ), Hindustani گَڑْبَڑ (gaṛbaṛ) / गड़बड़ (gaṛbaṛ).
