[edit]Compare Old Marathi 𑘭𑘰𑘽𑘐𑘜𑘹 (sāṃgaṇe), 𑘭𑘰𑘽𑘑𑘜𑘹 (sāṃghaṇe), Maharastri Prakrit 𑀲𑀁𑀖𑀇 (saṃghaï),[1][2] Proto-Indo-European *sengʷʰ-.[3] Cognate with Odia ସାଙ୍ଗିବା (saṅgiba).
