Derived from Sanskrit अकल्क (akalka). Sanskritic bahuvrīhi compound of অ- (o-) +‎ কল্ক (kôlkô). Or, structurally, by Bengali prefixation of অ- (o-) +‎ কল্ক (kôlkô).
