Inherited from Sanskrit কিংচিদ্ (kiṃcid, anything). Cognate with Sylheti ꠇꠤꠍꠥ (kisú), ꠇꠤꠌ꠆ꠍꠥ (kiccú); Bengali কিছু (kichu); Hindustani کچھ / कुछ (kuch).
