- 鯛: sea bream
- タイ(鯛)は、めでたいの"たい"につながることから、縁起のよいものと考えられています。
- Tai (tai) wa, medetai no "tai" ni tsunagaru koto kara, engi no yoi mono to kangaerareteimasu.
- Sea bream (tai) is considered good luck because tai is the ending of the word medetai (auspicious).
