Inherited from Sanskrit 𑀧𑀭𑀺𑀡𑀻𑀢 (pariṇīta). By surface analysis, 𑀧𑀭𑀺- (pari-) +‎ 𑀡𑀻𑀤 (ṇīda). Cognate with Maharastri Prakrit 𑀧𑀭𑀺𑀡𑀻𑀅 (pariṇīa).
