What a weird title. We wouldn't put (deprecated template usage) zugzwang in Category:Examples of German derivations, so why this? Mglovesfun (talk) 11:23, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
- Because this is an uncommon form of derivation that might occur in multiple languages for which we don't have a category (and probably shouldn't). I think that, for example, idolatry was derived from Latin term formed by syncope from an earlier Latin term. Similarly for barn (Old English). DCDuring TALK 16:50, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
