From Arabic فَتْح (fatḥ), a reverse acronym (meaning literally "conquest, victory or an outcome") for حَرَكَة اَلتَّحْرِير اَلْوَطَنِيّ اَلْفِلَسْطِينِيّ (ḥaraka(t) at-taḥrīr al-waṭaniyy al-filasṭīniyy, Palestinian National Liberation Movement).
