Expected reflex of Old East Slavic пизда́ (pizdá), from Proto-Slavic *pīzdà, from Proto-Balto-Slavic *pīˀsdāˀ, from Proto-Indo-European *písdeh₂, from *h₁epi + *sed- + *-éh₂.[1] Cognate with Russian пизда́ (pizdá), Old Novgorodian пиꙁда́ (pizdá).
