Etymological connections

[edit]

@Metaknowledge The word nswy.w appears a handful of times in the New Kingdom and the meaning is not certain according to the TLA. A connection to *ʔināš- is purely conjectural, so I went ahead and removed it. As for *h₂nḗr, is it even warranted to mention that *ʔināš- is unrelated to a reconstructed word in an unrelated language family with which it shares a single phoneme? I think this should be removed as well. Rhemmiel (talk) 09:02, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sure, it's gone. I had already removed the Tahaggart because it didn't appear in my (admittedly short) glossary. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 19:37, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
