- Maybe, the correct pre-Slavic form is *tūsontia from PIE *tuHsontih₂, cf. PGm. *þūsundī. OCS form may have changed under e.g. Gothic influence. 178.46.100.178 14:29, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
- The inflection here is clearly incorrect, and I see other nouns in -i are also messed up, like *oldi. These nouns are soft stems, so they must end in either, -j-, an iotated consonant or a consonant resulting from the progressive palatalisation. So these nouns have the stems *oldьj- and *tysǫť- respectively, and inflect like ā-stems. However, the nominative singular form appears to be anomalous. I'm not sure what it should be, but given that this type of inflection originates from the PIE ablauting *-ih₂ ~ *-yeh₂- ("Devi") type, *tysǫti is probably correct. —Rua (mew) 17:08, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
