Definitions

@Osocuma Hi, I was thinking that Baybayin pages should redirect to the Latin-script ones, and the Latin script version would give the definitions. @Osocuma Also, where did you get that these interjections came from Old Javanese/Kawi? Do you also have source that all the other suyat script versions of "a" explicitly came from the Tagalog Baybayin? or are they just alike and they have a common origin? Ysrael214 (talk) 20:47, 30 May 2023 (UTC)

@Ysrael214 Hello, I will try to simply my changes, then you check if some of it are fine with you, to answer some of your questions:

・Now that I think about it, these interjections might not be relevant to its etymology, so lets remove that

・The other Baybayin scripts are listed as child system under the general Baybayin used by Tagalog Baybayin, I will also try to find the source that Tagalog Baybayin were propagated during the colonial period to some parts of the Philippines by the Spaniards hence that might explain that they are descendants

・Recent times, many baybayin learners would also call the character name simply as "a" ("ka", "ga" etc) so I think it can also be it's character name along side it

@Osocuma By the way are you using Wikipedia as source (discouraged) that they're from Kawi? Theres this part there at w:Baybayin:

• Baybayin seems to be more related to other southeast Asian scripts than to Kawi script. Wade argues that the Laguna Copperplate Inscription is not definitive proof for a Kawi origin of baybayin, as the inscription displays final consonants, which baybayin does not.
