Sirs, please check how the genitive was written with this kanji 「之」: https://ja.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E4%B9%8B#.E6.BC.A2.E5.AD.97 You can still see it nowadays in some people's names, like 龍之介. That is why I modified the article.

Still, the kanji 乃 sometimes was used as well for the genitive, although it was not very common. I think the best idea would be to write both 乃 and 之. However, if you don't agree, it's fine. I won't be pestering you people with trolling comments or anything. I am not that kind of person.
