• My problem is with you formatting of Wiktionary articles. In this case, you haven't bothered to add a ===part of speech=== entry, or a headword. "plural of" is normally used for nouns, but the singular it pointed to was an adjective. You just need to get your act together. SemperBlotto 07:06, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

I don’t get your original complaint: Ashkenazi is properly a noun — its adjectival senses derive by attributive use from its nominal sense — the adjective for this people is Ashkenazic; nota that the OED only lists Ashkenazim as a plural noun, mentioning (deprecated template usage) Ashkenazic as derived thence and not treating the singular (deprecated template usage) Ashkenazi.
