"Gaelic refers most often to Scottish Gaelic."

[edit]

This statement in the Usage Notes seems very untrue. I have rarely heard it used this way in America and asking a friend in Yorkshire, England, he said it typically refers to Irish Gaelic, not Scottish. I'm presuming that it's some regional variation. I suggest removing this, or at the very least, mentioning that different regions and dialects might make different assumptions. Almozulo (talk) 08:36, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
