Is the IPA listing OK here?[edit]

Previously the article used a non-standard pronunciation key; my grasp on IPA is relatively new; verification has been requested.

acetous

Added IPA pronunciation to the article; previously the pronunciation was listed using a non-standardized pronunciation key. Can someone more clued-in to IPA syntax doublecheck it please? Mickey Mephistopheles 05:32, 25 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re the 2nd pronunciation, /i/ only exists in standard English at the end of a word, otherwise it'll be /iː/. But personally I've only ever heard the first pronunciation. Otherwise fine! Widsith 10:38, 25 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
