Spelling[edit]

As noted, there are many spellings of this word. I suspect that this form (with -ui-, no hyphen) will be most common in future, primarily b/c it’s easy to pronounce and accords with general English phonotactics and spelling – qu, linking (deprecated template usage) -i-, and hyphens tend to disappear over time. It’s also the form in which I saw the word, used by Marc Andreessen (as use, not definition), who is influential and seems a good example of use.

Of course all forms are legitimate, and if the word survives for long some preferred form may emerge, but it still seems pretty young.
