Why is the correct definition of "blue moon" marked "obsolete", and the discredited mistake given as the official definition?
It really should be the other way around.
Besides being wrong, the given definition is ambiguous, allowing under the right circumstances a moon to be blue in Los Angeles, while in New York it's the next moon that will be considered blue.
