"mob caper"?[edit]

I've just come across that phrase here : [1] (in case the page is updated soon, here's what it says, "A great ensemble cast including singer Alicia Keyes, Entourage star Jeremy Piven and Ben Affleck star in this mob caper.". Apparently it's about a film, and a 'caper' would be a comedy. I was wondering though, when is that used and who would say that? I've never heard it, and I've talked to some people who say they've heard it on TV but wouldn't say it...Please enlighten me if you know more. zigzig20s 17:10, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Mob Caper"[edit]

Many films contain the word caper, often in reference to a prank, or a madcap, perhaps even criminal adventure or plan. Probably the most notable would be "The Crown Caper" aka "The Thomas Crown Affair".

My attention was drawn to the discussion because of its frequent use in Batman - the 1960s TV version with Adam West
