Etymology[edit]

Etymology was incorrect "From the phrase talk turkey, in which someone deals matter-of-factly with a subject."

I'd always assumed it was because of the left-over turkey after Christmas. Learn something new every day. Equinox 14:26, 27 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
The etymology should just be added to this entry rather than simply including a link to Wikipedia. 204.11.189.94 12:33, 5 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
