etymology for third meaning[edit]

I'm not a wiktionary person. However, there is a small problem with this entry. The etymology given does apply to the verb sense, and noun sense 1+2, however sense three derives via old french (presumably norma french) from the Latin dolus in the sense of grieve.

+1 (the third meaning is used, for example, in translations of Dante's "Divina Commedia", Inferno, Canto III). Someone who knows how to formally "branch out" the etymology paragraph please do so. – Ὁ οἶστρος 12:24, 1 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
