Searching with google the results for dovente as form of dovere are dictionaries and conjugation tables. In a couple of results dovente is a mispelling of docente. In other pages it's a mispelling of dovete. In another document it is used as an alternative form of diventa [1], although in a Southern Italy dialect text. In some written grammars dovente is reported as missing. Nevertheless [2] and [3] reports the definition of the adjective dovente (the only usage example reported is a 1300 text) and the definition is consistent with the use of dovente as a form of dovere. The meaning of dovente sounds natural to me, so probably we should keep it. --Giuliopaci 00:40, 4 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
