- Keep: Although maybe strictly speaking SOP, neigen is a very rarely used verb in my experience, and geneigd zijn is very common. geneigd on itself is (almost?) never used adjectively ("geneigde konijn"? sounds very strange). Thadh (talk) 14:56, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- When it governs another verb, there is a pragmatic difference between ernaar/ertoe neigen om and geneigd zijn om. I do not know if that is reason enough to keep this.

- Comment. The combination geneigd raken is not uncommon, and in uses of the form de mensch is nu eenmaal geneigd tot ⟨some human propensity⟩ I am geneigd to analyze geneigd as an adjective. It is not uncommon that a Dutch adjective is predicative-only. --Lambiam 16:59, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Lambiam: You can find some examples of attributive usage of geneigd on Google Books: Tot beroerte geneigde individualiteit, Tot rheumatismus geneigde individus, Tot verettering geneigde ontstekingen. Thadh (talk) 17:25, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Then why not simply list geneigd also as an adjective, possibly with a usage note that attributive use is relatively rare? (BTW, gereed is labelled as used only predicatively, but is used attributively and inflected in the quotation for sense 3.) --Lambiam 18:47, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
- Agree with @Lambiam, this corresponds to what we already have in inclined and German geneigt. I guess that this figurative usage eventually goes back to Latin inclinatus; maybe we can add an etymology as loan translation in these lemmas. –Austronesier (talk) 09:35, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

- I have taken the liberty to add the PoS “Adjective” to geneigd, just like we have for bereid – which too is most often found in combination with zijn. In bereide konijn[1] we see a use of the participle. --Lambiam 14:04, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
