Examples of senses I haven't managed to translate or formulate succinctly enough yet/sentenses I'm uncertain which sense fits best...
- Håll dig fast! Jag ska hjälpa dig ned. = Hold firm! I'll help you down.
- hålla i koppel = keep on a leash
- hålla tyst = keep quiet (to shut up)
- Se nu till att hålla hastighetsgränserna. = Now, make sure to keep the speed limit.
- hålla en lektion = to lecture, to do(?) a lecture
- hålla ett föredrag/tal = (?)
- Hur länge kan du hålla andan? = For how long can you keep your breath?
- hålla sig = avoid using the bathroom
