- @Geographyinitiative: I had a vague sense that Americans can turn any "a /h/" into "an '" (err, you know what I mean). Certainly "an erb" (herb) rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I've been wrong all these years, quite possible. Equinox ◑ 20:32, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
