Googling a bit, I do find some uses of invariably where I think inevitably would have made more sense to me (e.g. http://books.google.com/books?id=bPt8cCJ02xgC&pg=PT91&dq=invariably), but I don't think I'm bold enough to conclude that people are actually using invariably to mean “inevitably”. If we can determine that they are, then we should probably keep the sense, but rephrased (what is an "inevitable manner", anyway?), demoted to second billing, and tagged (nonstandard).
