@Mellohi! Does Kortland say what the ol of Proto-Celtic *ol est ēgt is? Or why it seems to have two finite verbs (est and ēgt)? —Mahāgaja · talk 08:36, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Mahagaja: The *est here is what he reconstructs for the absolute particle that other Celticists reconstruct as *eti (*eti is incompatible with Kortlandt's etymology, since no /s/ can be generated). — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 08:52, 28 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
