Merge English etys?[edit]

We have two clams, one mentioning New Zealand origin and the other Maori. Surely the same root word. Shouldn't they be merged? Equinox 02:01, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Done. Looks like a transferred sense, as is so common with vernacular names for organisms. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:11, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

pipi in German[edit]

"Pipi" also means urine in German, albeit as a word mainly used by / with small children. See https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipi: "Pipi steht für: - Urin, als Kindersprache" i.e. "Pipi stands for: - Urine, as children's language" — This unsigned comment was added by 77.11.57.16 (talk).

The entry Pipi already exists.— Pingkudimmi 15:24, 29 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
