Also as noun (short for vegetable), perhaps mostly (or only) in the plural vegs: fruits and vegs.

Used as a sort of interjection in older Internet discussions (e.g. on Usenet): I think there were G (grin), EG (evil grin), VEG (very evil grin), and WEG (wicked evil grin). Or something. Equinox 13:29, 25 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
