Hidden template notes

[edit]

Unlike typical templates in this category that use only one argument, this template uses three, four or five, while still significantly reducing the work of embedding.

  1. The first argument is the stem, up to but not including the antepenultimate vowel.
  2. The second argument should be the antepenultimate vowel with acute stress.
  3. The third argument should be the same vowel unstressed.
  4. If there is a fourth argument, it will be any consonant or consonants that exist after the antepenultimate vowel but before the ον stem—if this argument is omitted, it will just be empty.
  5. If there is a fifth argument, it will be the antepenultimate vowel with circumflex stress. If this argument is omitted, the second argument (with acute stress) will be used instead.
