⿰𰋷鳥

Hi - I'm unsure why you created the page ⿰𰋷鳥, since it doesn't really contain any content. The Translingual sections for Han characters are meant to supplement the language entries, but in this case there aren't any. Where is this character used? Theknightwho (talk) 12:39, 22 September 2023 (UTC)

I created this page for Japanese extended shinjitai of this traditional Character(kyuujitai) 鸚.

contained in 鸚鵡 and 鸚哥,

by using the same simplified analogy.

example

• 嬰 → 𰋷 (𰋷) used as component
• 櫻 → 桜
• 瓔 → 珱
• 纓 → 䋝

there is no proper Han Character(Kanji) Unicode for the extended shinjitai character I tried to created page, so it go like this page.

Even Simplified Chinese also got their own simplification.

• 嬰 → 婴
• 櫻 → 樱
• 瓔 → 璎
• 纓 → 缨
• 鸚 → 鹦 this

Basque entries

Hello: I see you've created quite a few entries in Basque recently. They are well made in general, so I don't have any complaints. However, take note that in some cases the output of the pronunciation template might be incorrect (see dominatu and dominazio, for example). Santi2222 (talk) 18:51, 8 April 2024 (UTC)

@Santi2222 I've seen that I did some mistake because I only rely on auto generate pronunciation.

when I looked at the pronunciation template manual "in-" and "il-" in loanwords (currently I focus on Greco-Latin words) need to be handle manually with "inh-" and "ilh-".

Can I ask you anything about Contributing on WT? I want to imporve my skills.

PS currently, if my responses to anyone are so slow that's because I have social anxiety and some mental health symptom, I easily feel overwhelmed, I really want to ask for help, have a discussion, even make a collaboration. It takes a lot of power to contact with people.

Hello again! Sorry for the delay, I've been busy offline. You can send me a message if you want. Regarding the Basque entries, there are loanwords in which the sequences <in, il> get palatalized, so there are no fixed rules (there even cases in which different senses of the same word can have different pronunciations!). If you are not sure about the pronunciation, you can add {{rfp|eu}} to the pronunciation section instead. Santi2222 (talk) 20:29, 18 April 2024 (UTC)

Requests for pronunciation

So I should avoid request for pronunciation in Occitan, Romanian and non-lemma forms especially they lack of convenient pronunciation templates, right?

Mass adding translations

You probably shouldn't be adding tons of translations of languages you don't know. Editors have been reprimanded for this before. Consider this a light warning to stop. Vininn126 (talk) 05:29, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

Wiktionary can be overwhelming at first. If you are interested in translations, I'd focus on one language at a time, one that you know particularly well, and what counts for WT:CFI or not. You mean that if I want to edit, I should choose 1 Language for some period of time. right? example this week I choose Spanish, I should focus on mostly Spanish entries and check for WT:CFI and Editing should 1 major edit instead of many minor edits, right?

My edit now are focused on orthography.

I'd say 1 and 2 could be, since some of those terms can be misleading, for edit 3 it really depends. That is a cluster of similar languages, and it's a more focused edit. It involves reading the source and making sure that all definitions are present, accurately represented, etc. They're all a lot of work. Vininn126 (talk) 09:43, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
