indazolone (countable and uncountable, plural indazolones)

  1. (chemistry) An unstable bicyclic heterocycle derived from indazole that has analgesic, sedative, and spasmolytic properties.

      In the case of the indazolones the link with the p-phenylenediamine is via the middle NH group.
