jugular trunk (plural jugular trunks)

  1. (anatomy) Either of two major lymph vessels that drain the head and neck: the one on the right empties into the right lymphatic duct or into the right subclavian vein where it joins the right internal jugular vein, and the one on the left empties into the thoracic duct.
