Etymology[edit]
penta- (“five”) + -choron (“room”), from Ancient Greek πέντε (pénte, “five”) and χώρος (khṓros, “room”).

pentachoron (plural pentachorons or pentachora)
- (mathematics) A four-dimensional object analogous to a tetrahedron, constructed out of five tetrahedra.
