poker run (plural poker runs)

  1. (motorcycling) A motorcycling event where each participant pays a fee, and then follows a course with checkpoints, at each of which a playing card is drawn. At the last checkpoint, the rider with the best poker hand is the winner. Typically poker runs end with a party, and the proceeds benefit a charity.
