- Any passerine bird in the taxonomic family Thamnophilidae, the antbird family.
Usage notes[edit]
- The English species names in the antbird family include various antshrikes, bushbirds, antvireos, antwrens, antbirds, fire-eyes and bare-eyes. While there are specific English and Finnish names for every species, there are no exact Finnish equivalents to these group names.
