1. A pie with a filling and topping of (caramelised) sugar, typical of Belgian cuisine.
2. (derogatory) A hideously opulent building.

     ‘Jij maakte ruzie’ zei ze verontwaardigd. ‘Je deed zo onhandig of je nog nooit een kop koffie had besteld, je durfde geen enkel restaurant in en je liep te schelden op de Italianen en op de dom die je een suikertaart vond.’
