xofrango m (plural xofrangos)

1. (ornithology) (Gypaetus barbatus) large vulture, native to the Mediterranean region where it is found in mountainous and rugged areas, it reaches more than one meter in length, with a wingspan of about three meters and has brown plumage, lighter on the chest and undersides and darker on the wings; gypaetus, bone breaker
2. (Brazil, ornithology) name by which the osprey (Pandion haliaetus) is also known, when it is a juvenile
